Hey Spudlings....We cruised around the Lower lakes this evening.
Spud X runners getting stronger..you might have to get GUL to run the first leg of the relay...he's turning into a rabbit..

Blue Ridge Ride the Ridge

Spud Randy raced at the Blue Ridge School in Virginia on Sunday March 22, 2009. He placed 2nd in 35+ Sport and 5th overall in sport class. The bad news is that a Marine beat him for 1st place. Here's a pic of the first blood of the year! There was about 3500 feet of rocky elevation to climb. There was over 15 miles of trail.

Spud Randy took 3rd in 35+ sport class. It was rainy and mucky all day! Road in 2800 feet elevations! Here are some pics!!

Race Report/ GUL Harassed By Senior Runner

GUL ran another race today. This time he flew down the Rail Trail and back covering about 6.2 miles. According to GUL, everything was going great until mile #5 when an older lady with grey hair came cruising by and started screaming at him for wearing his Ipod. The lady wouldnt let up with the verbal negativity and darted ahead, sizing up GUL's race number and dashing off, threatening to turn GUL in to the race officials.
GUL totally lost his che" at this point and probably had some choices names for the senior.
What is it about being a Spud..........Why do we always get yelled at?..
